Annie's Fresh Pasta Sauce

Lon says the quantities for most of this are not specific, but it is great.

Butter

Scallions

Fresh tomatoes

Fresh chopped basil

Olive oil

Balsamic vinegar

Slivered almonds

Fresh garlic -minced fine

Fresh mushrooms chopped (optional)

Small amount of tomato or spaghetti sauce (optional)

Chop tomatoes, scallions and basil.

Add olive oil and vinegar. (2 parts vinegar to 1 part oil)

Sauté almonds in butter (do NOT scorch). Add garlic and continue to sauté.

In a separate pan, sauté mushrooms. Add all other ingredients (except almonds) to warm up.

Serve sauce onto pasta and then spoon on desired amount of almonds.
