Easy English Toffee

1 cup butter

1 cup light brown sugar

graham crackers

1 - 12oz. pkg dark chocolate bits

1 1/4 cups (chopped walnuts or pecans) and toffee bits, half and half

Line a 13" x 15" cookie sheet with foil

Line with graham crackers (no need to crumble)

Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan.

Bring to a boil on medium heat, boil for 3 minutes

Pour over graham crackers and place in a 400 degree oven for 5 minutes

Turn off oven and remove cookie sheet

Spread chocolate bits over the crackers and return to oven for 1 minute

Remove from oven and spread the melted chocolate over the crackers.

Sprinkle with nuts/toffee mixture on top and freeze for a half hour or until cool.

Break into pieces.
