Salmon Crunch Pie

1 can salmon (151⁄2 ounce)

3 eggs, beaten

1 cup sour cream

3⁄4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1⁄4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon grated onion

3 drops Tabasco sauce

1⁄4 teaspoon dill weed

Drain and flake salmon, reserving liquid. Add liquid, eggs, sour cream, cheese, mayonnaise, and seasonings to salmon, mixing thoroughly. Turn into pie plate lined with whole wheat crust. Sprinkle with crumbs reserved from crust. Bake at 400º for 45 minutes or until filling is set.

Whole wheat crust:

11⁄2 cups whole wheat flour

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1⁄2 teaspoon salt

1⁄2 teaspoon paprika

1⁄2 cup cold butter

Combine whole wheat flour, cheddar cheese, salt and paprika. Cut in butter making crumbs. Save 1 cup crumb mixture for topping. Press remaining mixture into 9 inch pie pan. Serves 6.
