Yellow Summer Squash
I used to be the only one who liked this, so I just cut it into disks and microwave in a covered dish until tender, add butter and salt. I don’t care if it gets mushy.
Marion makes it stir fried with vidalia onions...
Sauté sliced onions in butter at medium heat until just starting to get transparent, then add sliced squash and salt or seasoned salt, increase heat, cook and stir until tender.
