German Pancake

This is one of the best recipes in the collection. It can easily be doubled using a larger pan. It is very dramatic looking, tastes great and is easy.

6 eggs (If using jumbo eggs, use 5)
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/8 tsp salt
1 stick of butter

Oven 400º
Melt one stick of butter in a 9” by 13” pan in oven while preheating.

Mix eggs, milk, flour and salt. No need to mix perfectly.
Pour into pan with melted butter and bake for about 20-25 minutes and don’t peek with the door open or it will fall.

Serve with maple syrup/cinnamon/powdered sugar.
