Alex used to eat the raw dough with great pleasure when he was a little boy. Sometimes there was enough left to make some cookies. My mother made a batch then baked a few in the toaster oven for an after-school snack.
With all ingredients at room temperature, put all except flour in mixer and beat well then add flour and beat well again. Refrigerate. Drop by 1/2 teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet or toaster oven tray. Bake at 300 degrees. You can make 15 at a time in a toaster oven.
