Gwyn's Spinach & Artichoke Dip

1 package 8oz cream cheese
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
minced garlic - your choice (I usually do at least 4 cloves)
ground pepper - to taste
1 can artichoke (14 oz) - chopped
1 small bag frozen spinach - defrosted & chopped

1 - Thoroughly mix cream cheese and mayo in a bowl.
2 - Defrost spinach and squeeze out as much liquid as you can.
3 - Add rest of ingredients to the bowl and mix together.
4 - Either put in a crock pot on low or put in a baking dish and cook at 350 degrees for about 1/2 hour.

MB slight variant: I partly-cooked the spinach to dry it out, along with the garlic, and added the artichoke just long enough to warm it up. No added salt since the cheese makes it salty enough. The heat also made it easier to stir into the stiff cream cheese mix.
