Terry's Holiday Cranberry Compote


Whenever you make it, it feels like a holiday!–Sara

2 beautiful oranges - juice and grate the rind*
2 lbs. fresh cranberries (2 bags-ish)
1 1/4 cups raisins (You can also add walnuts or pecans.)
1 cup water

Cook over medium heat until berries pop and it’s sort of thickish.

*You can also use mandarin oranges and 1/2 cup orange juice instead.
